Biography

Tomas Tammemets, known professionally as Tommy Cash, is an Estonian rapper, singer, and conceptual artist born on November 18, 1991, in Tallinn. Growing up during the final year of the Soviet Union, his artistic style is a blend of Baltic ghetto culture, post-Soviet aesthetics, and Western rap influences. Before his music career, he was involved in graffiti, which led to several arrests, and various dance styles like popping, krumping, and breakdancing.

Musical Career

Tommy Cash began his music career in 2012 by uploading songs to SoundCloud. His first music video, "Guez Whoz Bak," was released in 2013 and won an award from the Estonian radio station Raadio 2. He released his debut EP, "C.R.E.A.M.," and his first album, "Euroz Dollaz Yeniz," in 2014. The music video for his 2016 single "Winaloto" went viral and won Video of the Year at the Estonian Music Awards. His second album, "¥€$," was released in 2018 to positive reviews and featured collaborations with artists like Charli XCX and Rick Owens. In 2021, he released the EP "Moneysutra," which included features from Diplo and $uicideboy$. In 2025, he represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in third place with his song "Espresso Macchiato."
