NEIKED
Biography
NEIKED is a Swedish artist collective of singers, songwriters, and record producers, founded by Victor Rådström and Mikael Rabus. The project began with Rådström writing songs in his basement. Feeling impatient with the traditional routes of the music industry, he and Rabus decided to form the Neiked Collective to release their music independently. This collective includes a variety of rising artists, producers, writers, and vocalists.
Career
NEIKED first gained significant attention in 2016 with their third single, "Sexual". The track, featuring London-based artist Dyo, achieved international success, reaching number four on the Australian Singles Chart and number five on the UK Singles Chart. The song was reportedly influenced by Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing". Following this success, NEIKED released "Call Me" in 2017, featuring Mimi.
In 2018, they released the single "How Did I Find You" featuring Swedish singer Miriam Bryant. Their debut album, "Best of Hard Drive," was released in 2019 and featured a collection of new songs and previously released singles.
A major hit came in 2021 with "Better Days," a collaboration with Mae Muller and Polo G. The song entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart and also charted in the UK. This was followed by the 2022 single "I Just Called," a collaboration with Anne-Marie and Latto. In 2023, they released "You're Hired" featuring Ayra Starr.
