Biography
Natasha Anne Bedingfield, born on November 26, 1981, in West Sussex, England, is a British singer and songwriter. She was raised in a musical family in South London and began writing songs at a young age. As a teenager, she formed the electronic dance group The DNA Algorithm with her siblings, Daniel and Nikola. Before launching her solo career, she attended the University of Greenwich for a year to study psychology but left to focus on music.
Career Breakthrough with "Unwritten"
In 2004, Bedingfield released her debut album, "Unwritten," which was a commercial success. The album, influenced by R&B and pop music, sold over 2.3 million copies worldwide. It featured the hit singles "These Words," which became a number one hit in the UK, and the title track "Unwritten," which was a top-ten hit in the United States. The song "Unwritten" earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. At the 2005 and 2006 Brit Awards, she was nominated for Best British Female Artist. Recently, "Unwritten" had a resurgence in popularity after being featured in the 2023 romantic comedy "Anyone But You."

Bedingfield's second album, "N.B.," was released in 2007 and included the UK top 10 singles "I Wanna Have Your Babies" and "Soulmate". For the North American market, the album was repackaged and released in 2008 as "Pocketful of Sunshine," which featured the successful singles "Love Like This" and "Pocketful of Sunshine." Her third album, "Strip Me," was released in North America in 2010, followed by her fourth studio album, "Roll with Me," in 2019. Personal Life and Philanthropy
Natasha Bedingfield is the daughter of charity workers John and Molly Bedingfield. She is an ambassador for the charity Global Angels, which was founded by her mother. Through this organization, she has been involved in humanitarian work, particularly supporting children. In 2009, she married American businessman Matt Robinson, and they have one son.
