Biography

K/DA is a virtual girl group created by Riot Games, the developer of the online game League of Legends. The group consists of four characters from the game: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai'Sa. The name K/DA is a reference to the in-game term "Kills/Deaths/Assists". The group was created to promote the 2018 League of Legends World Championship and to sell in-game skins for the characters. K/DA debuted on November 3, 2018, with their single "POP/STARS". The song's music video went viral on YouTube, surpassing 100 million views in one month. In 2020, K/DA released their debut EP, "All Out".

The members of K/DA are alternate universe versions of League of Legends champions.

Ahri

Ahri is the leader and main vocalist of K/DA. In the lore of League of Legends, she is a nine-tailed fox who was a former assassin. Her real-life singing voice is provided by Miyeon of the K-pop group (G)I-DLE.

Akali

Akali is the group's main rapper. She has a punk-inspired style and a bold personality. Her singing voice is provided by Soyeon, also from the K-pop group (G)I-DLE.

Evelynn

Evelynn is the lead vocalist of the group. She is portrayed as a mysterious and seductive diva. American singer Madison Beer provides her singing voice.

Kai'Sa

Kai'Sa is the main dancer of the group. She is depicted as a focused and determined performer. Her real-life singing voice is provided by American singer Jaira Burns.
