Biography

Jaxomy, born Tom Jahn on November 21, 1995, in Berlin, Germany, is a music producer and DJ specializing in future house and tech house. Raised in the culturally diverse environment of Berlin, he was exposed to a wide range of musical genres from a young age, including techno, house, and hip-hop, which sparked his interest in DJing and music production. He began learning piano and guitar at the age of eight. In March 2018, Jaxomy enrolled at the SAE Institute in Berlin to study Audio Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2020.

Career

Jaxomy's career began to take off in 2019 after signing a record deal with Superstar Entertainment. He released his first singles towards the end of that year. In 2020, his track "Slow Motion," released on Don Diablo's Hexagon label, entered the Beatport charts in the Future House category. His music, characterized by energetic beats and catchy melodies, has been released on prominent labels such as Ultra Records, Warner Music, Spinnin' Records, and Selected. His tracks have gained support from internationally acclaimed DJs like Don Diablo, Robin Schulz, Tiësto, and Martin Garrix.

Breakthrough Hit "Pedro"

Jaxomy achieved significant international success in 2024 with his rework of the 1980 Italo-disco classic "Pedro" by Raffaella Carrà, created in collaboration with Agatino Romero. The track became a global summer anthem, reaching the Top 10 charts in multiple countries and holding the #1 spot on Spotify's Viral Global Charts for four weeks. "Pedro" has amassed over 350 million streams worldwide and has been awarded quadruple platinum and ten gold certifications in Europe. The song's success was amplified by a TikTok campaign featuring a meme of a spinning baby raccoon, which won the "Greatest TikTok" award in Europe and Mexico.

Other Notable Releases and Collaborations

Before his breakthrough with "Pedro," Jaxomy released several other successful tracks. His 2021 dance version of Lil Nas X's "MONTERO (Call Me by Your Name)," co-produced with YES YES, was a notable release. Other popular tracks include "Desire" with Olly Alexander, "She's So High" featuring Conor Maynard, and "Bad Dreams" with Mary Jensen. He has also collaborated with artists such as Wave Wave on the track "Real (feat. EVIE)". His music has been featured on main stages at major festivals like Untold, Lollapalooza, and World Club Dome.
