Jackman Thomas Harlow, born on March 13, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky, is an American rapper, singer, and actor. He began his rapping career at the age of 12, recording songs with a friend using a Guitar Hero microphone and a laptop. During his high school years, he started performing at sold-out shows in Louisville venues.

Career Beginnings

In 2015, Harlow released his first commercial EP, "The Handsome Harlow". He followed this with the mixtape "18" in 2016, released through his own collective, Private Garden. After high school, he moved to Atlanta and in 2018, signed with DJ Drama and Don Cannon's record label Generation Now, an imprint of Atlantic Records. That same year, he released the mixtape "Loose".

Mainstream Breakthrough

Harlow's breakthrough came in 2020 with his single "Whats Poppin". The song gained immense popularity on TikTok and its remix, featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne, peaked at number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. This success led to a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance. In December 2020, he released his debut studio album, "Thats What They All Say," which was certified platinum.

In 2021, his collaboration with Lil Nas X on "Industry Baby" became his first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. He followed this with his second album, "Come Home the Kids Miss You," in 2022, which featured his second number-one single, "First Class". His third studio album, "Jackman.", was released in 2023 and debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200. Later that year, his single "Lovin on Me" became his third number-one song.

Acting Career
