Biography
Florent Hugel, known professionally as HUGEL, is a French DJ, record producer, and remixer born in Marseille in 1987. He began his DJ career at the age of 16, inspired by electronic music icons like Daft Punk and Laurent Garnier. His early experiences were in clubs across St. Tropez, Cannes, and Monaco.
Career Breakthrough
HUGEL gained significant international recognition in 2017 with his gold-certified collaboration with Robin Schulz, "I Believe I'm Fine". His fame skyrocketed in 2018 with his remix of "Bella Ciao", which became the official German summer hit and achieved platinum status in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This track was also featured on the popular Netflix series "La Casa de Papel".
