This early co-sign helped broaden their audience within the hip-hop community.

Mixtape Era

On February 17, 2014, G Herbo released his debut mixtape, "Welcome to Fazoland." The project was named in memory of his friend, Fazon Robinson, who was killed by gun violence in Chicago. The mixtape was met with critical acclaim for its raw and honest portrayal of street life. Later that year, he released a second mixtape titled "Pistol P Project." He continued to release mixtapes over the next couple of years, including "Ballin Like I'm Kobe" (2015) and "Strictly 4 My Fans" (2016). In 2016, he was selected for the XXL Freshman Class.
