Can David Bayram, known professionally as Pashanim, is a German rapper and filmmaker of Turkish-Kurdish descent, born on November 30, 2000, in Berlin, Germany. He grew up in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. Pashanim began rapping at the age of twelve.

Career

In 2017, Pashanim co-founded the rap collective Playboysmafia with fellow rappers Symba, Abuglitsch, and RB 030. He released his first songs on SoundCloud in 2018. His rise to prominence came in early 2020 with the track "Shababs botten," which gained significant traction on TikTok and entered the German charts. His major commercial breakthrough occurred in May 2020 with the single "Airwaves," which peaked at number two on the German charts. In June 2021, his single "Sommergewitter" reached number one in Germany and was certified Gold. His debut album, "2000," was released on June 13, 2024, with the lead single "Mittelmeer" also securing the top spot on the German charts.

Musical Style

Pashanim's music is a blend of hip-hop and trap, with his style described as flexible, moving from trap to electro-pop and dancehall-inspired productions. His lyrics often reflect his personal experiences.
