Aubrey Drake Graham, born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Canada, is a globally recognized rapper, singer, and actor. He first gained prominence as an actor on the Canadian teen drama series "Degrassi: The Next Generation," where he played Jimmy Brooks from 2001 to 2008. Raised by his mother in Toronto, Drake's father is an African-American musician who played drums for Jerry Lee Lewis, and his uncle is the famed bassist Larry Graham.
