Bryan Guy Adams, born on November 5, 1959, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, is a globally acclaimed singer, songwriter, and musician. His parents were English, and his father's career as a diplomat meant that Adams traveled extensively during his childhood, living in countries like Portugal and Austria before settling in Vancouver. At 15, he left school and joined the band Sweeney Todd. A pivotal moment in his early career was meeting Jim Vallance in 1978, with whom he formed a long-lasting and successful songwriting partnership.
