Biography

Stiven Mesa Londoño, known professionally as Blessd, is a Colombian singer, rapper, and songwriter. He was born on January 27, 2000, in Itagüí, Antioquia, Colombia. Raised in Medellín, he developed a passion for music at a young age, influenced by his uncle who was a rap enthusiast. Before his music career took off, Blessd worked selling fruit and candy to finance his first studio recordings.

Career Beginnings

Blessd's career began to gain traction in 2019 with the viral success of his song "Una". This led him to leave school and focus on his music, performing at hundreds of schools across Antioquia. In October 2020, he released "Viernes Social," a collaboration that became a number one hit in Colombia. His early work was a mix of reggaeton, Latin trap, and even Dominican dembow.

Rise to Fame

In October 2021, Blessd signed with Warner Music Latina and released his debut studio album, "Hecho en Medellín". The album's single, "Medallo," became a massive success, reaching number one in Colombia and accumulating over 100 million views on YouTube. This album solidified his position as a rising star in the Latin urban music scene. He has since released other successful albums including "Siempre Blessd" (2022), "Si Sabe" (2024), and "BlessDeluxury" (2024).

Collaborations and Style

Blessd is known for his melodic and airy vocal style. He has collaborated with numerous prominent artists in the Latin music industry, including Maluma, Justin Quiles, Myke Towers, Feid, and Peso Pluma. His collaboration with Maluma on the "Imposible" remix in May 2021 was a significant milestone in his career. In 2024, he and Maluma released a joint EP titled "1 OF 1".

Recent Ventures

In addition to his music career, Blessd has ventured into the world of sports by purchasing a Danish football club, Vendsyssel FF. His goal is to provide a pathway for young Colombian players to enter European football.
