Emwah Warmington, professionally known as Skillibeng, is a Jamaican dancehall artist born on December 23, 1996, in St. Thomas. He was raised in the rural community of Lyssons. His interest in music began in high school, inspired by his father's diverse musical taste, which ranged from reggae to techno. A near-death experience in a traffic accident solidified his resolve to pursue music full-time.

Career Beginnings and Breakthrough

Skillibeng began releasing music as early as 2015. However, his major breakthrough came in 2019 with the release of the track "Brik Pan Brik," which became a viral sensation in Jamaica. This success established him as a significant new talent in the dancehall scene. Following this, he released a series of popular singles, including "Mr. Universe" and "Crocodile Teeth". His prolific output included the 35-track debut project "The Prodigy" in 2020, which charted on the US Current Reggae Albums Chart.
