Grace Sewell (born April 8, 1997), known professionally as SAYGRACE, is an Australian singer and songwriter. She grew up in a musical family in Brisbane, with her grandparents having toured with the Bee Gees. Her brother, Conrad Sewell, is also a successful singer and songwriter. Career Beginnings

In 2015, at the age of 18, she signed with RCA Records under the mononym Grace. Her breakthrough came with her debut single, a cover of Lesley Gore's 1963 hit "You Don't Own Me". The track, produced by the legendary Quincy Jones and featuring American rapper G-Eazy, was a tribute to Gore who had recently passed away. The song achieved massive success, hitting number one in Australia and becoming a top 10 viral track on Spotify. Its popularity was further boosted by its inclusion in the trailer for the film "Suicide Squad" and various advertisements. Following this success, she released her debut EP, "Memo," in May 2016.

Debut Album and Rebranding

Her first full-length studio album, "FMA" (an acronym for Forgive My Attitude), was released in July 2016. The album reached the Top 40 in both Australia and the United States. In 2019, she rebranded herself as SAYGRACE to signify a new direction in her music and released the single "Boys Ain't Shit". This was followed by the EP "The Defining Moments of SAYGRACE: Girlhood, Fuckboys & Situationships" in February 2020, which delved into more personal and mature themes.

Recent Work

SAYGRACE has continued to release music, collaborating with various artists and exploring different sounds. She was featured on DJ Cassidy's track "Honor" alongside Lil Yachty in 2017. In recent years, she has ventured into dance music with collaborations like "No Saving Us" with Two Friends and "Beggin' You" with Hayden James in 2023.
