Biography
Julia Carin Cavazos, known professionally as Julia Michaels, was born on November 13, 1993, in Davenport, Iowa, and later moved to Santa Clarita, California. Her career in music began in her early teens when she started writing songs. At the age of 14, she met songwriter Joleen Belle, with whom she co-wrote the theme song for the Disney Channel show "Austin & Ally" and other music for television and film.
Songwriting Career
Michaels quickly established herself as a sought-after songwriter in the pop music industry. She has collaborated with songwriter Justin Tranter on numerous hits. Her songwriting portfolio includes major hits for a wide range of popular artists.
