Fifth Harmony
Biography
Fifth Harmony was an American girl group formed on the second season of the American version of The X Factor in 2012. The original members were Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello. After finishing third in the competition, they signed a joint record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco Records and L.A. Reid's Epic Records.
Breakthrough and Success
The group's debut EP, "Better Together," was released in 2013 and peaked at number six on the US Billboard 200. Their first studio album, "Reflection," released in 2015, debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold. It included the hit singles "Boss," "Sledgehammer," and the triple-platinum "Worth It." The lead single from their second album "7/27" (2016), "Work from Home" featuring Ty Dolla $ign, became the group's most successful single, peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming the first top-five single by a girl group in a decade.

The remaining four members continued as Fifth Harmony, releasing their self-titled third album in 2017. The album, which was their first as a quartet, debuted at number four on the Billboard 200. The lead single "Down" featured rapper Gucci Mane.
