Caleb Zackery "Don" Toliver (born June 12, 1994) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Houston, Texas. His father was a rapper during the Swishahouse movement in the early 2000s and often played music around him growing up. Toliver's music blends elements of hip-hop, trap, and R&B.

Career Beginnings

Toliver began his music career in 2017, releasing a collaborative mixtape called "Playa Familia" with fellow artist Yungjosh93. He then released solo singles, including "Diva" and "I Gotta". In 2018, he signed a deal with Atlantic Records and released his major-label debut mixtape, "Donny Womack". His big break came with a feature on Travis Scott's song "Can't Say" from the highly acclaimed 2018 album "Astroworld". This feature led to him signing with Scott's Cactus Jack Records.

Rise to Fame

In 2019, Toliver's single "No Idea" became a viral sensation on TikTok, significantly boosting his popularity. He was also prominently featured on the Cactus Jack compilation album "JackBoys" at the end of 2019, with tracks like "What to Do?" and "Had Enough".

Life of a Don (2021)

Toliver's second studio album, "Life of a Don," was released on October 8, 2021, and peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. The album was preceded by singles "What You Need" and "Drugs N Hella Melodies," featuring his girlfriend, singer Kali Uchis.

Love Sick (2023)

His third album, "Love Sick," was released on February 24, 2023. The album continued his streak of top-ten debuts, entering the Billboard 200 at number eight.

Hardstone Psycho (2024)

Toliver's fourth studio album, "Hardstone Psycho," was released on June 14, 2024, debuting at number three on the Billboard 200. The album features a biker aesthetic and includes collaborations with artists like Kodak Black, Future, and Travis Scott.
