Biography
Luian Malavé Nieves, known professionally as DJ Luian, is a Puerto Rican record producer, DJ, and songwriter born in Carolina, Puerto Rico on September 29, 1990. He is a key figure in the reggaeton and Latin trap scenes, recognized for his work with numerous high-profile artists.
Career Beginnings
DJ Luian's interest in music began at a young age, and his first significant credit was on Don Omar's 2010 album "Meet the Orphans". He started gaining wider recognition by posting his tracks on social media platforms, which helped him build a substantial following. In 2014, he released his debut single as a lead artist, "Tremenda Sata," featuring Arcángel.
Hear This Music
In 2015, DJ Luian co-founded the record label Hear This Music with the production duo Mambo Kingz. The label quickly became influential in the Latin urban music scene. One of their first major successes was signing Bad Bunny, whose career was launched under the label. The label's first release was the hit single "La Ocasión," which featured De La Ghetto, Arcángel, Ozuna, and Anuel AA.
