Biography

Alejandro Mosqueda Paz, known professionally as Almighty, is a Cuban rapper and singer born on January 20, 1995. He was born in Cuba but moved to Carolina, Puerto Rico at the age of six. His career in the Latin trap scene began to take shape during his teenage years.

Musical Career

Almighty gained significant recognition in 2015 when, at the age of 20, he signed with Farruko's record label, Carbon Fiber Music. His debut single was "Amárrate las Timber". He is widely known for the Spanish version of Desiigner's hit song "Panda," a collaboration with Farruko, which charted on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous prominent artists in the Latin urban genre, including Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Wisin, and Jon Z.

In 2017, he signed with Sony Music Latin but left the following year. He later released his debut album, "La Bestia," under Primo Boyz Music in 2019, which appeared on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Albums chart. The music videos on his YouTube channel have amassed over 1.2 billion views.

Shift to Christian Music and Recent Work

In 2019, Almighty began to transition towards Christian music, releasing songs like "Hambre" and "Cristo Conmigo". He collaborated with Christian artists such as Redimi2, Funky, and Alex Zurdo. His song "Filipenses 1:6" with Redimi2 won "Best Urban/Christian Song" at the 2020 Tu Música Urbano Awards. In 2022, he released his first Christian album titled "Genelipsis". Despite this shift, he announced a return to secular music in 2021. He continues to release new music, with singles such as "Aguita" and "Empatronao'" released in 2025.

Almighty is noted for his deep, gravelly voice and reflective lyrics, which often explore themes of love, sorrow, and personal struggles. His music is characterized by a fusion of modern trap production with traditional Latin rhythms. He is considered an influential figure in the Latin trap and reggaeton scenes.
