Biography
Erick Raúl Alemán Ramírez, known professionally as Alemán, is a Mexican rapper and songwriter born on February 20, 1990, in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur. He is considered one of the most prominent figures in the Latin American hip-hop scene.
Early Career
Alemán's interest in rap began at the age of 14. He started his career with his childhood friend, MC King, forming a group called "2 Rhymes." They later met DJ Phat, and the trio became "Doble Rima." The group released an album titled "Click Clack Punto Exacto" in 2009. After MC King took a break, Alemán and DJ Phat continued as a duo and released "Clasick Rap," which gained them recognition across Mexico.
Solo Career
In 2014, Alemán launched his solo career with the album "Pase de abordar," which was well-received and considered one of the best albums of the year. This marked his official entry into the music industry under the Homegrown Mafia label. His second solo album, "Rolemos Otro" (2016), solidified his popularity among the Mexican youth. The album "Eclipse" (2018) brought him international success, leading to tours in Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Spain. His 2021 album, "Huracán," featured major collaborations with artists like Snoop Dogg and Cypress Hill, further expanding his global reach. The single "Mi Tío Snoop" with Snoop Dogg achieved Platinum certification in Mexico.

Alemán's music is known for its blend of classic hip-hop, trap, and regional Mexican sounds. His lyrics often reflect on street life, personal experiences, and Mexican culture.
